18th Ružička Days 2020

MEETING OF YOUNG CHEMISTS

Dear Sirs,

since 2008, thanks to the initiative of Prof Ivanka Miličić, within the international conference Ružička Days, Meeting of Young Chemists is also held, where high school students, with the help of their mentors, present papers in the field of chemistry, and the best three are awarded. Until now, high schools from Vukovar, Osijek, Vinkovci, Đakovo, Slavonski Brod, Žepča, Zagreb, and Kutina have participated. In addition to promoting excellence, interdisciplinarity, originality, and innovation in scientific research, which all need to be linked to the economy and industrial needs, the aim of Ružička Days is to direct students and young people to the technical and natural sciences, especially chemistry.

For the seventh time, the Meeting of Young Chemists – high school students and their mentors will be held during 18^th Ružička Days.

We invite you to contribute to these goals by your participation and to continue the tradition of many of our excellent individuals such as the Nobel Prize winners Ružička and Prelog!

We are looking forward to see you in Vukovar!
